For today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to the charts on St. Patrick’s Day of 1984 for a one hit wonder!  From Re-Flex it’s “The Politics of Dancing”.

The new wave band from Birmingham, England released their debut album in November of 1983 and the title track became a big international hit in ’84 becoming a top ten dance hit and reaching #24 on the pop chart.  The song has also appeared in films like “Edge of Seventeen” in 1998 and the 2017 movie “Atomic Blonde”.
