On this fine Friday afternoon, today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 was on the charts February 27th, 1988. From Richard Marx it’s “Endless Summer Nights”.
In May of ’87 he released his self-titled debut album and it was a huge success. Selling over 3 million copies and delivering 4 straight Top 3 songs in “Don’t Mean Nothing”, “Should’ve Known Better”, “Hold On to the Nights”, and “Endless Summer Nights” a tune that peaked at #2, stopped from the #1 spot by Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror”.
