Happy Valentines Day!  It seems weird saying that on Friday the 13th, but whether or not you are lucky in love, today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is for you!  From Exile it’s “Kiss You All Over”.

The band out of Kentucky had a series of failed projects in the 70’s until they struck it big in 1978 with “Kiss You All Over”, a song that went to #1 and stayed there for 4 weeks.  In fact the song was the 5th most popular song of 1978.  It turned out to be the only their only big hit on the pop charts.  In the 80’s moved over to the country chart where they recorded 10 #1 hits.

Exile will be in Cedar Rapids opening for Alabama at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse on April 19th.  Check them out on a show called Top Pop performing “Kiss You All Over”.  Today’s Forgotten 45 is sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store.  You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
