105.7 KOKZ is your home for classic American Top 40 shows every weekend. This Saturday morning at 8 (it’s a 4 hour show!) is from February 10th, 1979 and today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is one of the songs on the show, from Chicago it’s “No Tell Lover”.
The song was the 22nd and final top 40 hit for the band in the 70’s from their album “Hot Streets” which was Chicago’s first album to not have a number title, it would’ve been Chicago XII! It’s also the first album without Terry Kath who died in January of ’78. Released in the Fall of that year the album featured “Alive Again”, and “No Tell Lover”, a song that went to #14 on the charts.
It’s Chicago with “No Tell Lover”. Today’s Forgotten 45 is sponsored by Honey Creek Furniture in Manchester, Eastern Iowa’s fastest growing La-Z-Boy store. You’ll find them at honeycreekfurniture.com.
