For the TuNesDay Forgotten 45 at 3:45 how about some Hot Chocolate on wintry day? On the charts December 2nd, 1978 it’s “Every 1’s A Winner”.
The British soul group hit the top 10 in America three different times starting with “Emma” in 1974, “You Sexy Thing” in ’75, and with “Every 1’s A Winner”. Released in February of ’78 the song became their second biggest hit reaching #6 on the charts.
I found a video of Hot Chocolate performing “Every 1’s A Winner” on a German TV show back in 1978. It’s today’s Forgotten 45!
