Since Waters took all of the “Fool” songs for the first day of April and today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 how about some April Wine with “Just Between You and Me”.
Formed in Nova Scotia, Canada in the late 60’s, April Wine was very popular in their native country recording 20 top 40 hits in Canada. Their biggest hit in America “Just Between You and Me” went to #21 on the charts in 1981 from their platinum album “The Nature of the Beast”. Perhaps you even saw the band open for Eddie Money at the Five Seasons Center back in September of 1982!
