Friday’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is a song you can hear again on Absolutely 80’s with Nina Blackwood Saturday night from 9 to midnight on 105.7 KOKZ. From Donnie Iris it’s “Ah Leah”.
The former member of the Jaggerz and Wild Cherry, the Pittsburgh area native scored his first solo top 40 hit with “Ah Leah” in 1980, the song was a #29 hit and became the unofficial anthem of Pittsburgh on local radio stations and with teams like the Steelers and Pirates.
