TuNesDay Forgotten 45: The Firm

By Jeff Winfield Dec 17, 2024 | 3:43 PM

Back to back birthday celebrations on the Forgotten 45 at 3:45!  Today Paul Rodgers celebrates his 75th so for today’s Forgotten we go back to 1985 for The Firm and “Radioactive”.

To say Paul Rodgers has had an incredible career would be an understatement.  He was the voice of Free, Bad Company, and even toured with Queen for 5 years between 2004 and 2009!  After recording a solo album in 1983, his old pal Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin came over and they formed The Firm, a group that recorded two albums.  The critics didn’t love it, and the sales were just OK, but their first single “Radioactive” was a #28 pop hit and a #2 rock hit in 1985.

Happy Birthday Paul Rodgers, here he is with The Firm with “Radioactive” today’s Forgotten 45.
