Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark were an English band formed in the late 70’s with Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. The had some chart success at home in the U.K. but it took several years until OMD found success in the U.S. “So In Love” was the song that broke through here reaching #26 on the charts which paved the way for their biggest hit song “If You Leave” from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.
