It’s good to be back in the afternoon again! Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 was on the charts on October 1st, 1983, from Elton John it’s “Kiss the Bride”.
The song appears on his 17th studio album “Too Low For Zero” which was kind of a comeback for Elton after slumping sales in the late 70’s. The album delivered the hits “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues”, and “I’m Still Standing”. “Kiss the Bride” was the third single from the album and it reached #25 on the charts.
