The Boss is celebrating his 75th birthday today, so for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1978 for Bruce and “Prove It All Night”.
The song was the first single from his 4th album “Darkness on the Edge of Town”. The song only reached #33 on the charts, but has continued to be a part of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band’s live shows for years.
The band recently played their last scheduled show this year in the U.S. at Asbury Park and they’ve made available a live recording of the show through the website nugs.net. After a short break, the band will do some shows in Canada, then head to Europe in 2025.
