On this Friday the 13th, we’d like to wish Peter Cetera a very happy 80th birthday today! In celebration, today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is the last chart hit from Chicago with Peter on lead vocals “Along Comes a Woman”.
Of course Peter found fame and fortune as the front man of Chicago from 1967 until he left the band in 1985. He then found success as a solo star with the #1 songs “Glory of Love” and “Next Time I Fall” with Amy Grant.
“Along Comes a Woman” appears on their very successful Chicago 17 album and the song reached #14 in 1985, featuring that signature Peter Cetera vocal sound. The black and white video was shot in the style of Indiana Jones and Casablanca.
