Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you another Classic American Top 40 from the 80’s. This weekend Casey features the top songs from August 8th, 1981, and today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is one of the songs you’ll hear on the show, from Pablo Cruise it’s “Cool Love”.
The band out of San Francisco was formed in 1973 and recorded 5 top 40 hits, the biggest were “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “Love Will Find a Way” in 77 and 78. “Cool Love” was the band’s final chart hit, reaching #13 in 1981.
According to Wikipedia, lead singer David Jenkins tells his lover some of the ways their love is cool because and I quote “cool love baby, that’s what it’s all about!” The 80’s were great!
