For today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, we go back to this week in 1986 and a song that was on the charts from John Mellencamp it’s “Rumbleseat”.
The singer-songwriter from Bloomington, Indiana, John Cougar, then Mellencamp recorded 22 Top 40 hits including classics like “Hurts So Good”, “Jack & Diane”, and “Pink Houses”. “Rumbleseat” appears on his 1985 album “Scarecrow”, the song peaked at #28 on the charts in ’86.
