This Sunday morning at 8 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 80’s as Casey Kasem counts down the top songs from June 20th, 1987. Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is one of the great songs you’ll hear on the show, from Crowded House it’s “Something So Strong”.
The band out of Australia released their debut album in 1986 and in their career they charted 14 Top 40 hits in their home country, but only 2 in the U.S. “Don’t Dream It’s Over” a #2 hit and “Something So Strong” a song that went to #7.
The group just released a new album called “Gravity Stairs” and they are currently on tour in England and Ireland this month and will be in the states in August and September.
