This Sunday morning at 8, 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 80’s as Casey Kasem features the top songs from May 24th, 1986. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Journey with “Be Good to Yourself”.
I remember taking a weekend trip to Kansas City with friends in the Summer of ’86 and I think we heard this song 40 times in 3 days! The song was the first single from their 9th album “Raised on Radio” and “Be Good To Yourself” went to #9 on the charts.
The band, minus Steve Perry of course, will be doing some shows in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark before returning the States. They’ll be with Def Leppard in St. Louis & Chicago in July. And Steve Perry has been hinting he’ll be recording new music soon.
