As we head into May in Eastern Iowa the Cedar Falls and Iowa City areas are once again featuring the Panther and Hawkeye mascots on parade!
In the Cedar Valley there are 27 different versions of T.C. the Panther on Parade on display with tour materials available for pickup at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center (6510 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls) beginning Friday, May 3.
In Iowa City, it’s Herky on Parade, with 100 decorated Herky’s displayed throughout Johnson County in celebration of Herky’s 75th birthday. These are painted by local artists and after they are displayed, they’ll be auctioned off to send area kids to camps.
