I don’t know about you but I am ready for the weekend!  Temps in the 70’s and 80’s, it’s time to get outside and enjoy Spring, you know before it crashes back down in true Iowa fashion.  For Friday’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1987 for Paul Carrack with “Don’t Shed a Tear”.

The BBC called Paul “The Man with the Golden Voice” he was the singer of great hits by Ace “How Long”, Squeeze “Tempted”, Mike & the Mechanics, and has written songs for stars like Linda Ronstadt, the Eagles, and Michael McDonald.

“Don’t Shed a Tear” was Paul’s biggest solo hit spending 23 weeks on the charts and peaking at #9 on the Hot 100 back in February of ’88. Enjoy the great voice of Paul Carrack with “Don’t Shed a Tear” today’s Forgotten 45!
