Mike Waters topic on the Waters Wake-Up Call this morning was “Southern Fried TuNesDay”, so for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1989 for 38 Special’s biggest chart hit ever “Second Chance”.
The band even admits that if you ask their fans what their biggest hit was they’d answer with “Hold On Loosely” or “Caught Up in You” but it was actually their 1989 smash “Second Chance”, a song that went all the way to #6 in May of ’89 from their album “Rock & Roll Strategy”.
