As we head into the Easter weekend, it’s time for the Friday Forgotten 45 at 3:45. Today we go back to this week in 1987 for Boston and “Can’tcha Say (You Believe in Me)/Still In Love”.
The song was the final top 40 hit for the band hitting #20 on the charts and appearing on their “Third Stage” album that was released in 1986. And even though the song was released then, it was actually recorded in 1981, 82, and 83 as they combined what were originally three different songs into one.
Critics were mixed on their reviews of the song, but it’s unmistakably Boston. Check out the concert video of “Can’tcha Say” today’s Forgotten 45.
