Happy Valentines Day!  This Saturday morning at 8 on 105.7 KOKZ, we have a 4 hour countdown show with Casey Kasem as he counts down the top songs from February 17th, 1979.  It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Poco with “Crazy Love”.

One of the founders of the Southern California country rock sound, Poco was originally formed in 1968 after the the break-up of Buffalo Springfield.  The group featured Jim Messina, Randy Meisner, and the one constant through the years, Rusty Young.

“Crazy Love” was the first top 40 hit for the band reaching #17 on the pop chart and it was the #1 Adult Contemporary song of all of 1979.  I found a live video of Poco performing “Crazy Love” in 2004, check out today’s Forgotten 45!
