Hello Friday! The weekend means Nina Blackwood will be in Saturday night from 9 to midnight with Absolutely 80’s, three hours of awesome 80’s music and stories from the MTV era. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Duran Duran with “Planet Earth”.
While the song didn’t chart in America, this was the very first hit for the band reaching #11 in England, top 10 in Australia, and #1 in France. The song paved the way for the band’s global domination and the second British Invasion fueled by MTV.
