On this date 39 years ago, the Culture Club won a Grammy Award for Best New Artists. So today we’ll feature one of their big hit songs, “Time (Clock of the Heart)” on the Forgotten 45 at 3:45.
Culture Club burst onto the music scene in 1982 with their global smash “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and lead by the flamboyant look and soulful singing of Boy George, their fame grew along with the MTV generation.
“Time (Clock of the Heart)” was their second hit song and reached #2 in early ’83 from their debut album “Kissing to be Clever”.
