This Saturday morning at 9, 105.7 KOKZ brings you American Top 40 the 70’s. Casey Kasem will play the top songs from February 25th, 1978, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Bob Welch with “Ebony Eyes”.
The song was his second hit from his “French Kiss” album and the song went to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Bob was born into a Hollywood family, his father was a producer and screenwriter for Paramount Pictures. Originally he learned to play the clarinet before switching to guitar.
