I’ll be honest, I’m suffering from the January blahs. Cloudy, snowy, ugh. So we need a pick me up for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 and I found one on Saturday’s American Top 40 show from 1978, Earth, Wind, & Fire with “Serpentine Fire”!
The song spent 7 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Soul chart, and reached #13 on the Hot 100. Founded in Chicago, Earth, Wind, & Fire fused jazz, pop, R&B, disco, and funk and became one of the world’s best selling bands. Winning multiple awards through their career, they are also members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
So shake off the winter blahs, and turn up the horns of “Serpentine Fire” today’s Forgotten 45!
