Since I played their last #1 song on Monday (Look Away), I thought, why not play the band’s first #1 song. “If You Leave Me Now” hit #1 for two weeks in the Fall of 1976 and was featured on their Chicago X album.
Written and sung by Peter Cetera the song went on to be award winning as Chicago won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.
