Well it officially feels like Winter now, so we need to warm up with our Absolutely 80’s Forgotten 45 Friday edition from Howard Jones with “What is Love”.
The song appears on his “Human Lib” album and was a huge hit in his native England reaching #2 there, but only hit #33 in the U.S. Known for his synth skills, Howard said he didn’t want to write songs that just say “I love you, I hurt you, now I’m sad”, he wanted to say what do we mean by love? What is it, really?
