Who is ready for the weekend?! Saturday night from 9 to midnight MTV’s Nina Blackwood hosts Absolutely 80’s, it’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Baltimora with “Tarzan Boy”.
Baltimora is a true one-hit wonder from Milan, Italy and “Tarzan Boy” was released in April of 1985 and was a huge European success and it became a top 5 hit in multiple countries. By October the song became a hit in Canada and while it took awhile to take hold in the U.S. once it did, the song remained on the Hot 100 for six months, peaking at #13 in February of ’86.
