Happy 76th Birthday to Daryl Hall, born just outside of Philadelphia on this date in 1946. For today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 we go back to 1988 for Hall & Oates “Everything Your Heart Desires”.
The song was the final top 10 song for Hall & Oates after a career that delivered 16 of them including 6 number one songs in the 70’s and 80’s. Both of Daryl’s parents had musical backgrounds, his dad came from a choral group clan and his mother was a vocal coach.
Hall & Oates first met in the late 60’s as students at Temple University in Philly and went on to deliver some quality Philly soul!
