This Saturday morning from 9 until noon, 105.7 brings you American Top 40 the 70’s, this weekend Casey Kasem counts down the top 40 songs from October 9th, 1976. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 from Cliff Richard with “Devil Woman”.
“Devil Woman” was his first song to crack the top 20 in the U.S. and went on to become his biggest hit here reaching #6 on the charts. Cliff is from England and was originally marketed in the style of Elvis and Little Richard but ultimately found success more in the middle of road.
He’s the third best selling artist in England’s history behind only The Beatles and Elvis! Check out his 1976 appearance on Top of the Pops with “Devil Woman” today’s Forgotten 45!
