Happy Birthday to Gerry Beckley of America, who celebrates his 70th today. In honor we go back to 1972 for today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, “Ventura Highway”.
America delivered 11 Top 40 hits in the 70’s and early 80’s with monster #1 hits like ” A Horse With No Name” and “Sister Golden Hair”. Ventura Highway was a top ten hit released in the Fall of ’72.
