Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders turns 71 years old tomorrow, so we thought we’d feature of their songs today on the Forgotten 45 at 3:45, The Pretenders with “Don’t Get Me Wrong”.
The English/American band formed in 1978, stringing together a list of hits like “Brass in Pocket”, “Back on the Chain Gang”, and “Middle of the Road”. “Don’t Get Me Wrong” was the first single from their Get Close album in 1986 and became their second ever top 10 hit.
