This Sunday morning Casey Kasem features the top 40 songs from this week in 1982. 40 years ago I was moving into Burge Hall at the University of Iowa, drinking cheap beer from Dirty John’s and probably listening to today’s Forgotten 45 from Olivia Newton-John.
The song will featured as an extra on Sunday’s show because it debuted this week in ’82. The song was included on Olivia’s Greatest Hits Volume 2 album and ultimately ended up a #3 hit for her. It was of two new songs that were featured on the album that featured her hits between 1978 and 1982.
