Dr. Noah Drake is 73 years old today, you know him better as Rick Springfield. Born in 1949 in a suburb of Sydney Australia, the actor/musician found fame in the States with his #1 smash “Jessie’s Girl” which won him a Grammy Award. He also hit the top 10 with “I’ve Done Everything For You”, “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and today’s Forgotten 45, “Affair of the Heart”
The song was the lead single from his “Living in Oz” album and reached #9 on the charts in 1983. This was also Grammy nominated for best Male Rock Performance but lost to a little song called “Beat It” by Michael Jackson.
