A classic break-up song, it reached #36 on the charts in ’83. Martin began writing and playing music when he was 10 in London and moved to New York later to become a studio musician for several stars like Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Olivia Newton-John and more.
He ultimately signed a solo recording contract and released 3 albums, but had only the one hit. Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45, “The Salt In My Tears”.
