For today’s Forgotten 45, we go back to 1979 for the song that was the very first video on MTV, The Buggles “Video Killed The Radio Star”. The song just snuck into the top 40 at #40 in ’79 and was performed by the duo of Geoff Downs and Trevor Horn who later joined Yes. It just so happens to be Trevor’s birthday tomorrow, so even though we disagree that videos killed radio…here are the Buggles with today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45!
