It is Memorial Day week and thanks to Leslie in Marion for the text suggestion to remember artists who have recently passed away this week on the Forgotten 45. Today’s selection is from Meat Loaf who sadly passed away in January of this year at the age of 74.
Today’s Forgotten 45 “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth” barely made the top 40 back in 1978 reaching #39 from his Bat Out of Hell album. The song was written by Jim Steinman who also passed away in April of 2021.
