The Tunesday topic on the Waters Wake-Up Call was the first music you ever bought, mine was the Eagles album “One of These Nights”. But I also remember buying my first CD player and CD’s and one of them was by Mr. Mister “Welcome To the Real World”. The album featured the #1 songs “Broken Wings” and “Kyrie” and today’s Forgotten 45, “Is It Love”.
The song reached #8 on the charts in 1986 and sadly was the last big hit for the band, while “Welcome to the Real World” was a #1 album, their follow-up “Go On” in 1987 flopped.
