Theme Week continues with the Forgotten 45 at 3:45, today we feature a song that reached the top 5 in 1987 from Bruce Willis “Respect Yourself”!
In ’86 Bruce began a short-live singing career as “Bruno Radolini”. “Respect Yourself” was on his album “The Return of Bruno, a companion to the HBO special of the same name. He was helped on backing vocals by the Pointer Sisters.
Of course Bruce is best known for his TV show “Moonlighting” with Cybil Sheppard and the “Die Hard” franchise (a Christmas classic!). His films have grossed nearly 3 BILLION dollars at the box-office, making him one of the biggest motion picture stars.
The family of actor Bruce Willis recently announced that he would be stepping away from acting following an aphasia diagnosis – a language disorder caused by damage to the areas of the brain responsible for expression and comprehension.
