Every Saturday night from 9 to midnight, KOKZ lets Nina Blackwood share her awesome music and stories on Absolutely 80’s. It’s where I found today’s Forgotten 45, from Tears For Fears “Sowing the Seeds of Love”.
Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith burst on to the music scene in 1985 with their Songs From the Big Chair giving us smash hits like “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”, “Shout”, and “Head Over Heels”. “Seeds” was their last top ten hit, reaching #2 in 1989. The song has a very Beatles feel and the video was award winning.
They just released new music at the end of February, their album is called “The Tipping Point”.
