Minor League baseball announced today that the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Quad City River Bandits will play August 9th at the MLB ballpark next to the Field of Dreams site in Dyersville.
Similar to the game last year between the Yankees and White Sox, the host River Bandits will become the Davenport Blue Sox and the visiting Kernels will become the Cedar Rapids Bunnies.
Ticket information will be made available at a later date, but this sounds great, The Blue Sox vs. The Bunnies in August. Is this heaven? No, it’s Iowa!
