This Saturday morning from 9 to noon, Casey Kasem takes us back to April of 1974 and while this song isn’t forgotten, it is one I haven’t heard in a while.  Chicago’s “I’ve Been Searchin’ So Long” was a #9 hit for the band in ’74, one of 18 top ten songs for the group.

The song features Peter Cetera on lead vocals and of course the signature horns that made the band so popular for decades.  You can hear “Searchin'” again Saturday morning on American Top 40 the 70’s.

The Forgotten 45 is sponsored by Pro Wall Construction, they are seeking individuals with skills in finish carpentry, sheet rock, and finishing.  They need experienced and semi-experienced workers.  Call (641) 696-5919, veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Take a trip back in time and enjoy a live performance of the song from ’77 and check out the 70’s style!
