On this Throwback Thursday we take you back to this week in 1984 and a song that will appear on American Top 40 this Sunday morning from 8 to noon.  It’s from Yes and their 90125 album which featured the #1 song “Owner of a Lonely Heart”.  Today’s Forgotten 45 is “Leave It”, the 2nd single which peaked at #24 on the chart.

Yes had previous success mainly in the early 70’s with songs like “Roundabout” and the band broke-up briefly after their 1980 tour and reformed as Cinema but after meeting with Yes lead singer Jon Anderson, they invited him to sing and changed their name back to Yes.

The Forgotten 45 is sponsored by Pro Wall Construction, they are seeking individuals with skills in finish carpentry, sheet rock, and finishing.  They need experienced and semi-experienced workers.  Call (641) 696-5919, veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

The video to “Leave It” really stood out in the early era of MTV, check it out!
