I absolutely loved Bruce Hornsby & The Range album “The Way It Is”, the title track was their biggest hit rocketing to #1 and the album sold over 3 million copies in the U.S. and they went on to win a Grammy for Best New Artists.
Today’s Forgotten 45 is from that album, “Mandolin Rain” reached #4 in 1987 and the song can be heard again this Sunday morning on American Top 40 the 80’s
