Happy 2-22-22! Mike Waters played many of the “2” songs this morning on the Waters Wake-Up Call, but I still found one…or is that two? Too? To?!
Today’s Forgotten 45 is from superstar Dolly Parton and “9 To 5”. Okay, it’s a stretch, but the song was a #1 hit for Miss Dolly back in 1981 and spawned a movie of the same name starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and of course Dolly. You can hear the song again this Sunday morning on Classic American Top 40 on KOKZ.
Recently Dolly has been in the news for her charitable works, including starting Thursday, employees at Dollywood who pursue a college degree will have their tuition, associated fees and books 100% covered by the Dollywood theme park.
