Today’s Forgotten 45 “Love Will Keep Us Together” was a monster hit in 1975, you couldn’t get away from Toni Tennille and Daryl Dragon, better known as the Captain & Tennille. Toni claimed on their show that they were married on Valentines Day 1974, but that turned out to be false. They were in fact married in November of that year.
Nonetheless, love kept them together for nearly 40 years…until their divorce in 2014. They remained friends until his death in 2019, with Toni at his side.
