This Saturday on Classic American Top 40 the 70’s Casey takes us back to Valentines Day, 1976! Today’s Forgotten 45 comes from that show, “Sweet Thing” by Rufus & Chaka Khan. Long before her resurgence in the 80’s, they took this song to the top of the R&B charts and #5 on the pop charts. In fact Essence Magazine included the song in their 25 Best Slow Jams of All-Time.
