Today is the 6th anniversary of the death of Glenn Frey, who sadly passed away on this date in 2016. Glenn of course is best known for his work with a little band called The Eagles where Glenn sang classics like “Take It Easy”, “Peaceful Easy Feeling”, “Lyin Eyes” and more.
Glenn had some solo success in the 80’s with his two biggest hits both being from soundtracks. “The Heat is On” from Beverly Hills Cop, and today’s Forgotten 45 from the Miami Vice soundtrack. A song that hit #2 back in 1985, Glenn Frey and “You Belong to the City”.
