A week ago Sunday around lunch time I received a text from Mike saying he wasn’t feeling well and I told him to let me know if he didn’t think he could do his show. Well, the next call I received was from Mrs. Waters. They were in the emergency room and Mike had suffered a heart attack. This was a complete shock!
Thank God she decided to take him in, he had a 100% blockage in one of his arteries, and the medical team worked quickly to put in a stent to open up his heart. Mike was released from the hospital and is at home resting and recovering and hopes to be back on the air doing what he loves soon.
He also wants to let everyone know he very much appreciates the texts and social media messages of support and encouragement.
