On this date in 1979, the punk-rock band The Clash released their third studio album “London Calling”. The double album received widespread acclaim and ended up ranked #8 on the Rolling Stone list of the 500 Greatest Albums of all-time in 2003.
Today’s Forgotten 45 at 3:45 is “Train in Vain” a song that reached #23 on the Billboard charts back in March of 1980. These guys were truly ahead of their time.
